Schenker opens a branch in Moldova
With the opening of a new representative office in the Moldovan capital of Chisinau last year, Schenker incorporated the south-eastern neighbour of the European Union into its global network. Since then, business has grown steadily. There is now a wholly-owned subsidiary in Moldova.
The new I.C.S. Schenker SRL (Moldova) provides road haulage, air and sea freight services. Moldova has some 4.5 million inhabitants and is surrounded by its neighbouring countries, Romania and the Ukraine.
